great new figures from Bravo 6!

Vladimir Demchenko, or otherwise known as the master sculpter behind the Bravo 6 line of figures, has sent news of a brand new release!  This ties in with thier on going USMC in veitnam theme.  Here we have two grunts working together to tempt a sniper into exposing himself.  I will no doubt be picking up these as I both poses are very useable for my Hue city firefight I am thinking of doing.  I need to get to work painting up the others I have so we can start work on these!
Thanks Vladi for such wonderfuly sculpted figures! Truely works of art!

Awesome Figures from Bravo-6

35029-1Ive got a project brewing in the back of my mind, a USMC Nam era fire fight.  I discovered the talented sculpting of Vladimir Demchenko and his Bravo 6 figure line back when they first came out.  I had the pleasure of reviewing one of his first releases for Armorama and was impressed then.  Well shortly afterward he started doing a series of USMC figures during Tet in 1968.  I finally obtained a couple from the series from Military Miniatures Warehouse and they just arrived today.  All I can say is WOW!  I started with #35028 "Cover Me!" and #35029 "Machine Gun Team".  The poses are outstanding, and the facial expressions are just fantastic.  Each figure is unique on its own, both in face and uniform.  The "Cover Me" figure even has a bandaged leg and shows where his trousers were torn by the medic to care for the wound.  I can't wait to get started on these guys and hopefully I can do as good a job painting them as was done on the box art. One neat model: 1/32 Ta152!

I was browsing some forums and ran across a link to a company called "Zoukei-mura" out of Japan.  They have some very interesting models, limited release, but very highly detailed.  The one that caught my eye was the 1/32 Ta152.  Not only do these come with some outstanding detail, but build like a real aircraft!  Interesting concept!  I would be interested in building one of these...

Check out the photos.  More at Zoukei-mura's Website  They also have a 1/32 Shinden (which you can buy optional jet engine parts for too)
